I mean, they just GROW out of nowhere!

I have spent the last two years without an insect in my apartment, and since I bough those strangely brown bananas at the supermarket, these tiny flies keep bugging me to no end. I keep ruthlessly killing them but they still appear! The bananas are long gone (I only ate one of them the first day and they were too squishy the next to even be used for banana bread and full of flies so I threw them in the garbage outside), but they still strive without fruits.

The flies persist in my living room... They ignore my kitchen and my bathroom (and thank God they ignore the existence of my room), but they stay in my living room and always stay close to me and they drive me mad and I just don't understand how they keep living without food unless they are very very very slowly eating me alive.


It's too warm outside. It's too warm inside too now that I mention that... I hate summer. I like the sun, swimming, trees and all, but once the temperature is over 25degrees celcius, my brain stops functioning and I because more lazy than I usually am, and you know by now that I'm one lazy person.

The best time to draw for me is autumn. I love that season, it's perfect in all aspects. It rains a lot. It's chilly outside but not freezing. The trees are red and yellow and orange. Kids are trapped in school. I have lots of money too. It's the perfect time of year.

But it's also the worst. I never have free time in autumn. I work all the time because most of BBM's employees flee during the summer and never come back and I have to do the job of 2 people with overtime and week-ends and so little sleep time left...

And of course, on every of my free day-off, I have to go visit my family in the country. I love them, but I only realized today after my first day of 1pm to 10pm that it was going to be tougher than I thought to survive 'till Halloween.

I will take a week of vacation for my birthday, the first week of November, and I will get my strength back and I hope I will have lots of drawings of frustrating tears of craziness to give to all of you. I can't promise more, because I will be sleep deprived for the next 2-3 months, and sadly, these months are the best for me to be efficient.

And I swear all the fruit flies will be dead. I bought a Venus-fly-trap plant. I called her Albertine and she already has three flies in her bellies! And if it's not enough, well, I'll get sticky tape and I'll watch them die horrible slow deaths stuck on an orange strip of swirly sticky paper hanging from my roof. It will be very pleasurable.
